THE WHISPER OF JAZMYELLE (Goddess of Dreams)
Spanning the width of the galaxy is a ray of consciousness that passes through the awareness of all conscious beings. This spectrum of thought acts like a rainbow, with frequency depths wider and deeper than any eye could see. As it touches the awareness of the mind, it delivers ideas, conceptions, and perceptions that seasons dreams as they blossom into the conscious layers of reality. Jazmyelle's influence on the beings contained in the bosom of the Goddess Grid is an all encompassing embrace: a pillow for the head of the imagination. When she visits her favourite place, the Temple of Ethid, it is an opportunity for her to ground her energetic forces and to breathe into a manifested expression of the dream world she occupies.
THE CONCEPTION
Long ago, before the temple existed, a handful of individuals scattered across the planet of Dreiya, had been spending much of their personal time practicing the art of the lucid dream. These individuals, did not yet know each other, but they were drawn together through the astral realms they were frequenting. Jazmyelle had seen them, often revisiting the same places they visited the night before. She decided to orchestrate a rendezvous to see if something new, and creative, might occur. Organizing a banquet of sorts: she issued an invitation to each of them (through the dream world) to a beautiful dining experience inside one of her favourite dimensional spaces. Each of the 8 individuals responded gleefully to the invite, and it wasn't long before they found themselves together in this space of liminal dreamtime.
A CELESTIAL DINER
Once together, the chemistry was ecstatic. During what seemed to be a very long, and rich meeting of minds, this combination of architects, acoustical engineers, botanists, artists, and builders decided they should combine their energies to create something magnificent; it would be an inspired structure which honors the realms of the dream. Delighted, Jazmyelle snapped them out of the dream state at once, leaving each of them with a very tangible clue as to where to go, or what to do next.
THE DRAWING
One of them received a distinct idea to draw a simple artwork for her next show. The vision, was of a rounded triangle shape with a circle at each of the connecting points. She took a fine bristle brush, and dipped it into her most prized ink, which was donated by her late grandmother. Applying it to a piece of papyrus, she began to illustrate what appeared to be a sort of insignia. After a short session, she felt her process was complete. Though, she felt the piece itself was unfinished, she resolved to leave it as is, and to show it anyway.
THE MISSING PIECE
Later, at her exposé, she noticed a gentleman who was staring intently at her image with a sort of half-cocked smile. She asked him what his thoughts were. He hesitated a moment and said, “This may be absolutely out of line, but may I request to add something to your image?”. While it was an outrageous suggestion, she was compelled…
“Here.”, she responded and offered him the quill from a nearby pulpit where the guestbook had been placed. The man was taken aback, “I'm sorry, I didn't mean to…” “No, no.” she returned, “Please go ahead, I have a feeling something will come out of this, it wasn't really finished anyway.” He hesitated, but then, upon receiving her assured gaze, he proceeded to draw the missing component. He added, “This vertical line will span downward into a final sphere, which will root the geometry in the stable terrestrial reality we live in.”
Just then, they realized, they remembered each other. “Wait, you're…” she responded. “At the dinner table…” he indicated. They paused, and laughed aloud, catching the attention of the show's attendees. They resumed with a whisper. “This is a framework for something, isn't it?” she continued. “It most certainly is.” he finished.
This was one of several promptings influenced by the Goddess of Dreams that brought the 8 together, leading to the planning, and development of the Temple of Ethid.
The art piece, became the guiding inspiration for the acoustical, and architectural principles employed as the Temple of Ethid was designed, and built. As a result, it ended up becoming the symbol for the temple itself. The original artwork, created from this spontaneous collaboration of extradimensional thinkers, has gained notoriety throughout the Jazmyelle Cluster. It has been encased in glass, and is displayed in one of the smaller, more intimate meditation spaces of the temple today.
Over the eons, Jazmyelle has taken opportunities to influence, and redirect the attention of gentle dreamers. The Temple of Ethid, became for her, a space where receptive dreamers, and those who delve into the astral realms could be honored for their creative contributions to the subtle layers of the cosmos. It has also become a space, for those not yet acquainted, to realize the potential of their dreamtime abilities.
