Welcome to The Galactic Matriarx (the "Site"), operated by Lucas Gaudette (referred to as "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Site, including all content, features, and services available through https://matriarx.com and related subpages, such as the InnerRealms subscription service, Goddess Grid Map, oracle tools, books, and any other offerings (collectively, the "Services"). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

1. Introduction

The Galactic Matriarx is a platform dedicated to awakening to the Cosmic Feminine through self-enrichment, exploration of Goddess archetypes, interactive maps, oracle messages, philosophical content, music, books, and related tools. Our Services include free features (e.g., browsing Goddess profiles, invoking messages, and email subscriptions) and paid features via the InnerRealms membership (e.g., personalized journeys, attunements, sanctuaries, and community listings as Dwellers). The content draws from oracle traditions, creative storytelling, and inspirational exercises to foster self-awareness, empowerment, and inner-enchantment. However, the Services are provided for entertainment, inspirational, and personal reflection purposes only and are not intended as professional therapy, medical advice, or psychological counseling.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By using the Services, you represent that you are at least 18 years old or the age of majority in your jurisdiction and capable of entering into a legally binding agreement. You agree to these Terms, our Content Creation Policy, and any other policies we may post. We may update these Terms at any time by posting the revised version on the Site. Your continued use after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updates.

3. Description of Services

• Free Services: Include exploring Goddess families (Matriarx, StarQueens, Zenigmas), the Goddess Grid Map (with limited interactions), invoking Goddess messages, subscribing to Matriarx Emails for spotlights and musings, using the NoteMaker tool (stored locally in your browser), and accessing general philosophical content like the Matriarx Code.
• Paid Services (InnerRealms Membership): Provides enhanced access to self-enrichment journeys, including the full Goddess Grid Map with Dweller listings, attunements for emotional empowerment, Concentric Calendar with daily themes and astronomical events, Celestial Codex stories, Matroglyphs as emotional roadmaps, Realms Gallery, Frequency Tuner for synesthetic experiences, Sanctuaries for retreats, Sonoroc Sanctum for music, Aeonic Athenaeum bookshelf, Arking Gods content, downloadable albums, MXU comics, and community connections.
• Books and Store Items: Physical books (e.g., Awakening to the Cosmic Feminine and Self-Enchantment Journal) and oracle decks are available for purchase via third-party platforms like Amazon.ca. These are separate from Site subscriptions and subject to the sellers' terms.
• Therapeutic and Oracle Nature: The Services incorporate elements inspired by oracle traditions, creative fantasy, and self-reflection exercises to nurture desires, promote stillness, and encourage compassionate self-mastery aligned with the Matriarx Philosophy (e.g., the 13 tenets including Desire, Compassion, Freedom, and Nurturing). Content may have a therapeutic vibe, described as "the cheapest, easiest & funnest therapy on this side of the galaxy," but it is not a substitute for professional mental health, medical, or therapeutic services.

4. User Accounts and Subscriptions

To access certain features, you may need to create an account or subscribe to InnerRealms. You agree to provide accurate information and keep your login credentials secure. Subscriptions are billed via secure processors like Squarespace or PayPal. We do not store payment details directly.

5. Payments, Cancellations, and Refunds

Payments are non-refundable. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting us—no questions asked. Cancellation will take effect at the end of your current prepaid billing period, during which you retain access. There are no partial refunds or prorations. If you cancel mid-period, you will not be charged for the next cycle.

6. Changes to Services

The Services are evolving and dynamic. We reserve the right to modify, add, remove, or discontinue any features, content, or realms (e.g., Goddess profiles, maps, attunements, or tools) at any time without notice or liability. This includes updates to books, music, or interactive elements as the Matriarx Universe expands. Limited editions of books may vary in content and artwork between releases.

7. Warranties and Disclaimers

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability (meaning the Services will work perfectly or be fit for every possible use), fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do our very best to provide a secure, stable, virus-free, and bug-free experience, with regular updates and careful development practices. That said, no online platform is completely immune to technical issues, security threats, or occasional glitches, and we do not guarantee that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free from viruses or bugs.

• Encouragement of Personal Responsibility: The Galactic Matriarx is intentionally designed to inspire and encourage you to look inward—to rely on your own personal faculties, intuition, maturity, strength, and discernment when making decisions in your life. Whether engaging with oracle messages, Goddess archetypes, philosophical themes, stories, attunements, or any other content, the Services aim to empower your self-awareness and compassionate self-mastery. You are ultimately responsible for how you interpret and apply any inspiration or insights gained.
• Therapeutic and Decision-Making Disclaimer: While the content may inspire self-reflection, empowerment, and a therapeutic-like experience, it is not professional advice. Do not rely on the Services—or any oracle invocation, Goddess message, story, or thematic exploration—for medical, psychological, financial, legal, or other life-altering decisions (e.g., avoid impulsive actions like quitting a job, ending relationships, or making drastic choices based solely on content here, including "picking the wrong oracle goddess"). If you are dealing with mental health issues, trauma, crisis, or need guidance for important decisions, please seek a qualified counselor, therapist, medical professional, or other expert. We are not liable for any outcomes resulting from your interpretation or actions based on the Services.
• Oracle Message Mechanics: The oracle invocation feature (e.g., the "Invoke a Goddess" messages) uses simple, client-side programming to select and display pre-written messages at random. This process is entirely algorithmic and random on your device—no trackers, cookies, personal data, profiling, or server-side analytics are used to influence or generate the results. Any perceived synchronicity or personal relevance is coincidental and a beautiful reflection of your own inner timing and intuition.
• Content Accuracy: Stories, characters, and events are fictional and creative. Any similarities to real people, places, or events are coincidental and unintentional. We are not liable for any perceived misrepresentations.
• AI Usage: All core written content—including stories, Goddess profiles, oracle messages, philosophy, and the Matriarx Code—is created exclusively by humans. AI is never used to generate primary writing or creative narrative. AI is employed transparently and ethically only as a technical tool in the execution of certain media elements (imagery, music, audio, video, and interactive features), always in close combination with original human artistry, hand-drawing, composition, direction, and extensive editing. AI may also assist with spell/grammar checking, sourcing marked informational citations (*), and programming complex site functionality. • Cookies and Data: We use only first-party essential cookies for site functionality (e.g., login, settings). Analytics are anonymous via plausible.io, with no personal data tracking or third-party sharing. Email subscriptions are opt-in, and we do not share your information.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Services, including but not limited to loss of data, emotional distress, or decisions based on content. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the last 12 months (or $0 for free users). This applies even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site—including Goddess profiles, maps, stories, music, Matroglyphs, books, the Matriarx Code, imagery, audio, and interactive elements—is owned by us or our licensors and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may use the Services for personal, non-commercial purposes only. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, publicly display, or otherwise use any of this content without our prior written permission.

User-generated content that you create and store using site tools remains your property:

• Notes created in the NoteMaker tool are stored locally in your own browser (using your device's local storage) and are completely private—they are never transmitted to our servers, shared with us, or displayed on the Site.
• Other user-submitted content (e.g., your Dweller profile nickname, traits, or any public listings) remains yours, but by submitting it you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, host, and use it on the Site as intended.

10. User Content and Conduct

You agree not to use the Services for unlawful, harmful, or abusive purposes. If you submit content (e.g., as a Dweller), it must not infringe rights, be defamatory, or violate laws. We may remove any user content at our discretion. By listing as a Dweller or interacting, you consent to your nickname and traits being publicly visible on the Goddess Grid.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for any reason, including violations of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Services ends, but Sections 7–12 survive.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the laws of Canada applicable therein (including federal privacy legislation such as PIPEDA), without regard to conflict of laws principles. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services shall be resolved exclusively in the courts located in British Columbia, Canada.
