FAQ

An artifice of transparency, and a guide for your interactions with the Galactic Matriarx.

THE MATRIARX LITERARY & VISUAL CONTENT

Is the content on this site written by a human, or by AI?

The Matriarx content is written entirely by author (Lucas Gaudette) except for the light use of spell / grammar checkers. You can learn more about the original inspiration, and circumstances surrounding the creation of the Galactic Matriarx on the About & Story page.

Is the imagery created with AI?

The more ‘realistic’ imagery such as the designs of the Matriarx, Zenigmas and Sanctuaries employ a combination of AI and manual editing with tools such as Photoshop and manual brushing. Artwork, like the StarQueens, is based on pencil line drawings which are scanned and coloured in photoshop with digital tablet pen. The Matriarx visual content makes use of AI as a tool, rather than a replacement for human ingenuity. The right tools are used to achieve a targeted result within a reasonable timeframe to create the best experience for you, the Receiver of the message.

The author & creator, Lucas Gaudette has been a career artist and graphic designer long before AI tools became available.

PHILOSOPHY & CREATIVE ROOTS

Are these Goddesses real and do they have historical roots?

The Goddesses portrayed here are only real to the degree which you imagine them to be. Of course, none of us can prove (or disprove) the possibility or fact of their existence.

The names of the Matriarx and Zenigmas are invented using an inspired play with the etymology of names, different languages, and reference points, combined with good old-fashioned creativity. In some cases, they have been ‘received’ by the author; arriving in a moment of clarity, and coherence. A few of their references hint to names of historical figures which have inspired this universe. However, most are created more for how they sound, and feel in the body and mind as you say them.

One of the general inspirations of the Galactic Matriarx is the original Gnostic theological views relating to a universe predominantly nurtured by the forces of Goddesses (Aeons). A specific inspirational reference is the historical figure, Hypatia: a Gnostic scholar (among other things). She is honoured through the representation of “Xypaetia” in the Matriarx Universe, and is one of the root inspirations for this material.

Hypatia was a mathematician, astronomer, and philosopher who lived in Alexandria in the 4th and 5th centuries. She was one of the last great thinkers of ancient Alexandria and one of the first women to study, and teach mathematics, astronomy, and philosophy. Scholars travelled from around the world to learn from her school. Hypatia’s brutal murder at the hands of an aggravated mob of early Christian zealots shocked the Greco-Roman world.

Are these Goddesses real and do they have historical roots?

The Goddesses portrayed here are only real to the degree which you imagine them to be. Of course, none of us can prove (or disprove) the possibility or fact of their existence; if you travel far enough in an infinite universe, you may encounter anything.

Is this some kind of religion?

Not really. However, the Galactic Matriarx is intended to be used in a way that serves as a reference point, and a self-reflection tool. It can be used as a path to find yourself (and others) in a world of greater beauty and possibility. It also has a set of developing tenets and ideas which help to create a conversational platform of meaning and, ultimately, truth. Because of this, it could, in a sense be ‘practiced’ as one might, embody a particular philosophical view, or theological belief. Humans do not do well in a contextual vacuum; the Matriarx provides stories, and an ideological framework which could inspire a life and mindset that not only makes sense, but is beautiful to behold.

MEMBERSHIPS

What is the Membership?

The InnerRealms Membership is designed to give you an extra level of involvement in everything that is the Matriarx Universe. The Celestial Codex, for example, represents the deeper philosophical stories and lore. The Attunements & Embodiment Recipes are exercises that help you tune into yourself. Access to special places and characters in the Goddess Grid provides insight which can make it more ‘real’ in your life. Not only that, the membership is about becoming part of something bigger; it’s a movement toward a different kind of world where things aren’t forced into shape, but nurtured. With the physical membership card, for example, represents an entry point, a conversational piece which you can take to those you meet, and those you love. The Matriarx is about identifying your personal values (and your value), and then sharing it as you discover it with others. The InnerRealms is a reminder to you, of your connection to the Cosmic Feminine, and to the possibility of a more wondrous, and effervescent life for everyone.

Can I cancel my membership any time?

Yes, you can do this through your ‘Account’ area in the top menu within your InnerRealms Members Area. Your subscription access will end and payments will no longer occur upon your next billing cycle date, whenever that happens to be regarding your billing cycle (monthly, 6 months, etc).

Can I share my login to let others access my account?

While we won't specifically stop you from doing this, we’d love it if you would encourage your peers, friends, family to support the Galactic Matriarx to sign-up with their personal membership. This gives the Galactic Matriarx the resources we need to keep building and sharing its inspiring content with you! It's a Give Support / Get Support economy.
