Newsletter Subscription and Contact Forms

If you subscribe to Matriarx Emails or submit a contact form, we collect your email address (and optional name/nickname) to send updates or respond to you.

We do not share this with anyone else, and you can unsubscribe anytime.

Inner Realms Membership (Paid Service)

To create an account and access member-only content, we collect your email address and a display name (real name or nickname—your choice).

For payments (processed securely via Squarespace Payments or PayPal), we collect necessary billing information, but this is handled directly by those providers—we do not store full payment details.

Voluntary submissions

Members can optionally submit nicknames, personal links, publications, or other details to appear on features like the Goddess Grid Map, Sanctuary visitor lists, or Athenaeum Bookshelf. These are manually reviewed and, if approved, publicly displayed on the site to foster community connection. You control what you share, and it's optional—nothing is required beyond login credentials.

We use this data solely to provide and manage your membership.

NoteMaker and Browser Storage

The on-site NoteMaker tool saves your personal notes locally in your browser (using browser storage). We do not access or store these notes on our servers.

We collect only what's necessary for the site's function and your experience. No phone numbers, mailing addresses, or other unrelated info unless you voluntarily provide it (e.g., in a submission).

Third-Party Services

We integrate select third-party services to enhance site functionality, such as support chats. These services may collect and process data independently, and we encourage you to review their policies.

ElevenLabs Support Chat Agent (Ariiya)

We use ElevenLabs, an AI-powered conversational agent, for real-time support chats on the site. When you interact with the chat agent, it may collect conversation text (e.g., your queries and responses) and, if voice features are enabled, audio data to process and respond to your inquiries. This data is used solely to facilitate the support interaction and improve the agent over time. ElevenLabs processes this data on our behalf and does not share it for unrelated purposes. We do not store chat transcripts on our servers unless needed for follow-up (e.g., escalating an issue), and any retained data is anonymized where possible. As mentioned elsewhere, we use Squarespace for hosting, Cloudflare for analytics, and PayPal/Squarespace Payments for transactions—all under strict privacy standards.

How We Use and Protect Your Data

To operate the site, process memberships/payments, respond to inquiries, provide support via chat agents, and send occasional updates (if subscribed).

Data is stored securely via Squarespace and our providers, with encryption for sensitive info (e.g., payments). For support chats, data is retained only as long as necessary to resolve your query (typically deleted after 30 days unless legally required).

We retain data only as needed (e.g., membership data while active; analytics aggregated anonymously).

Sharing Your Data

With service providers: Squarespace (hosting), Plausible (analytics), PayPal/Squarespace Payments (transactions), and ElevenLabs (support chats)—all under strict privacy standards.

Voluntary public displays: Only for approved member submissions (as described above).
