These experiences are written and developed by a human (creator Lucas Gaudette), with a hefty amount of labour & love.
:: The Writing
The Galactic Matriarx content is written exclusively by human. Why? Because it’s the message itself.
The only machine intervention is the following:
1. The use of spell/grammar checkers (we use languagetool.org).
2. Informational pop-up citations (for technical and historical references) found in some stories are sourced from an AI sources. These tooltip pop-up quotes are marked with a trailing asterisk (*) for transparency.
:: Imagery, Video, Music & Audio
In many instances, AI is employed by a real artist, meticulously combined with hand-drawing & editing, to create a lot of what you see. The video, music & audios are also a mixture. This helps to save time so that bringing the full Matriarx experience to you is possible!
:: Interactive Games, Process & Website
The ideas and work to create what’s on this site and its publications are created by author, artist, programmer Lucas Gaudette. AI is used to help do some hardcore heavy lifting when it comes to programming certain complex elements of the site’s interactive experiences, though much of it is hand-coded. The website is developed and maintained by the author as well, making use of tools built by other humans, such as the Squarespace website platform.

The Galactic Matriarx aims to serve as one example of how we might employ technology (and AI) in a way that is purposeful, intentional and ultimately, helps us to serve humanity and our universe as individuals: our skills, our minds, our relationships, and our hearts.
